It allows a user to check that the thermometer is accurate at 0°C ±0.4°C. Hanna Instruments™ Calibration Test Plug, 0.0°C is suitable for use with the HI-93510 Waterproof Thermistor Thermometer.

Hanna calibration test keys allow a quick calibration check of the thermistor thermometer by simply connecting the key to the meter and verifying that the reading is within the key value of ±0.4°C.
